Uniquely Unity with Camille

Today I am sharing a fold-over tag page for a small address book or notebook I found at a thrift store—who knows when I found that?! I surely don’t.

On this little page, I am using this month's Uniquely Unity Kit, Soar Bravely. If you have not investigated what this monthly kit is about, please go here.

I finally got snapchat on my phone just this week—YES--just this week. I’ve been having a lot of fun snapping quirky photos of myself, so I thought I’d scrap one to use on this little page.

Here’s a few photos of my project.

The picture above shows the snapchat photo I printed to scrap with this little page. I used my Silhouette Studio software to construct the page for my little notebook and then used my Silhouette to cut the page, tags, etc. Then I stamped, stamped, and stamped. I also used this month’s SMAK kit. A copic multi liner was used to underline the sentiment.

Here’s a couple more pictures, this time with the little notebook that will hold the fold-over page.

Here’s a peek at this month’s Uniquely Unity set I used to stamp my project—clicking on the photo below will take you to the Uniquely Unity page at Unity Stamp Company.

I hope you enjoyed my little post—have a great week!

Inspiration Wednesday

Hi everyone.  It's Kris here to share some inspiration with you today.
I have a very personal tie to this wonderful Phyllis Harris stamp that was released in August.  We have sent four Labrador Retrievers to the Rainbow Bridge over the years and currently have two others that just turned 6 years old.  This card was colored with distress markers (using them as watercolor).

Don't you think that Phyllis did a fabulous job of capturing the feeling of the Rainbow Bridge?

Whether you are an animal lover or not, just the thought of such a peaceful final resting place does my heart good.

So here's wishing all of you a wonderful, peaceful week.

DT Tuesday with Heather - Giraffes!

Good morning everyone! Heather here this morning to share a project with you - and a few of the amazing cards that I have been seeing pop up on the Unity Show and Tell Group! Been so busy lately that I haven't had a chance to play with my Unity stamps as much as I've wanted to - so it was super fun to get a little time to work with them yesterday and even film a couple of Quick Tip Videos!

Here is the Quick Tip Video showing how I created the window in this card!

I used the darling newly released Missing You Like Crazy for this card.

This set was perfect for this card - hard to see in the photos, but it has a window that goes straight through to the back - kind of a fun and unique style to it!

Now - I saw so many beautiful projects over on the Unity Show and Tell page - aren't these lovely? Make sure and leave these ladies some love!

First up - don't you love the beautiful fall colors on this gorgeous tag from Melinda Feliciano?!?!?!?

And then I fell in love with the unique die cutting on this card from Amanda Garrett - so fun!

And then this soft and sweet little baby card that also uses a giraffe! The colors are absolute perfection - I just adore this whole card by Jaclyn Wurtz!

And speaking of giraffes - this one has a bit of good advice for you:

Thanks so much for stopping by today - have a wonderful day!

SMAK / LOL Saturday!

Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Today I wanted to share with you a card I made using the September SMAK kit called TRUEST LIFE.  First take a peek at this amazing kit:

How amazing is that?  Perfect for cardmaking, scrapbooking, art journalling and mixed media!  The possibilities are endless.

Here is my card:

I used watercolor pencils to color in and layered the flower and created a bit of a grungy look. I took one of the fantastic sentiments and cut it up to place around the card.  The center of the flower has a blue glittered brad.

You will also want to take a peek at the Layers of Life kit this month called Love Anchors.

Both of these kits are monthly subscriptions!  How cool is that sign up for the the one of your choice and each month you will get a new kit in the mail just like that!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Inspiration Wednesday with Sentiment Kit Abundant Blessings

It's Inspiration Wednesday with Kary and today we're going to focus on the new Sentiment Kit - Abundant Blessings.
I think this is my favorite Sentiment Kit ever! I love the floral image and the all occasion sentiments.
My inspiration today is based on the floral pattern on my favorite tshirt.  I love the monochromatic color and the bold flowers.
I thought it would be nice to try this technique on a card.
Here's what I came up with:
Instead of having lots of white spaces in the flower petals, I decided to try the inverse.  I colored the flowers with Copic Markers (B37, B34, B32, B60).  For the sentiment, I fussy cut around it and adhered it with foam adhesive for some dimension.  I added some glossy accents to the flower centres for some interest.
Since this kit is so fab, I made another card with brighter colors.
Just switching the colors used, the feel of the card is so different.  On this card, the Copic Markers used are YR27, YR24, YR15, Y15, Y11.
If you have never owned a Sentiment Kit, you might want to get this set. There are so many possibilities with it.  I think I'm going to try watercoloring and possibly color pencils next.
Have a wonderful day!

Fall to Go DT Tuesday

Hello everyone...
It feels like fall in North Carolina today so I thought I'd share this
cozy Fall to Go card with you.
I think this stamp kit is the perfect representation of
Pumpkin Spice Latte.
I used a kraft file folder for the base of my card then stamped the
edges with Archival Black Ink using a stamp from the
I am Who I am kit.
Loosely water coloring using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers added the perfect amount of fall color to my image.
I was trying to play along with the current challenge in the Show and Tell group
on Facebook with my design this week.

Which brings me to the next projects I'd like to share.

Isn't this just beautiful? I love this design by Jeannie Thomas that I
found in the Unity Show and Tell Group.
She used the current KOM for her lovely card.

AND also....this beauty shared by
Donna used Rebuild Your Life for her stunning card.
I adore the Show and Tell group and encourage you to
become part of the fun.

So much inspiration and helpful tips shared there.

Have a beautiful day.
